Welcome to the C.O.G. 100 News Page!
8/4/20: We are carefully watching the situation at hand and gathering as much information as possible. Right now it still doesn't look good for 2021. We want to make an announcement to allow you to make plans as soon as possible. We are working on this and will try to make some kind of definitive decision well before March 2021. Thank you for your continued patience.
3/30/20: There were several folks out doing solo #cog100 rides over the weekend when we had the event planned for. A short report on that can be seen HERE. Please stay safe, follow your strict personal hygiene suggestions, practice social distancing, and hopefully we can see ourselves to the other side of this and be able to hold the C.O.G.100 next year.
This will be the final update until we get an all clear for group activities. Stay tuned for an announcement on a possible 2021 event. Thank you for your patience and STAY SAFE AND HEALTHY!
3/25/20: N.Y. Roll is sending out t-shirts you may have ordered. Please keep an eye out for those in the next ten days.
3/22/20: Just a message to you from N.Y. Roll and Guitar Ted to wish you all safety and health. We support your efforts to ride, but please remember to be self-sufficient and not to be a burden to authorities or our health care system at this time. PLEASE ADHERE TO ANY NON_ESSENTIAL TRAVEL ORDERS OR ANY STAY AT HOME ORDERS YOUR STATE/CITY MAY HAVE IN EFFECT!
3/15/20: IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! Regarding the responses in the sporting world and elsewhere to the COVID-19 virus, we have decided to post-pone the event until 2021. Here is a a link explaining our decision ..
12/7/19: Course Recon Report Here! Course cues have been verified. We have a few spots we have concerns over and we will be keeping an eye on those with final verification in Spring. Meanwhile, we are gearing up for registration. We also have a few ideas in mind which will be fleshed out in the near future. Bottom line? Things are looking good so far. Stay tuned.....
4/7/19: Not many folks file written blog reports that you can find and that are not on social media only, but Craig Groseth has a blog and wrote a really good accounting that represents most folks experiences out there. Give it a read HERE.
Thanks again for the outpouring of responses and for your attendance to our event. Here are a few more reports filed by Guitar Ted from his blog:
