C.O.G. 100 Iowa Gravel Single Speed Championship 2019

The C.O.G. 100 is a Self-Supported, Self-Navigated gravel road bicycle race using single speed bicycles only. This page is where you can find the latest updates....

Latest News:
Welcome to the C.O.G. 100 News Page!

1/17/19: The pre-order jerseys will be ordered next week, but I still need to hear back from a few of you that committed. Let's get the money in and get the ball rolling! I'll be in touch this weekend if I haven't heard from you.

1/14/19: The C.O.G. 100 field is ALMOST full. Don't dilly-dally if you want in. We will leave registration open until March 1st or when the field of 100 is full. Whichever comes first.
1/14/19:  The C.O.G 100 jersey offer is OVER! If you ordered a jersey and need to go to the Bike Rags site ==>See HERE for details.

1/9/19: Here's a really good article about single speed gravel bikes, gear selection, and more from my friend, Nick Legan- CLICK HERE.

1/9/18: The latest long form update on the C.O.G.100 can be found on G-Ted Productions HERE.

1/6/19: We've gotten enough feedback that we have decided to add 25 spots to the event! That's right, the C.O.G. 100 will have 100 riders (if we sell all 25 newly minted spots), and we also have reserved FIVE SPOTS FOR FEMALES ONLY. Women can enter either the co-ed class or use one of the FIVE RESERVED SPOTS if those are still available at the time they register. THIS IS THE LINK FOR REGISTRATION

We'd like to give BikeRagsApparel.com a shout out for doing the design work with us. (The hats are going to be through them as well.) We wanted to work through an Iowa based company and Bike Rags is a really good jersey/bike kit provider. Check them out if you get the chance.

11/26/18: A very nice and very complimentary blog post by Craig Groseth concerning the C.O.G. 100. Read it here.

11/17/18: First course recon has been completed. Looking good but we have some minor rerouting to do. Special poster design has been commissioned and approved. 75 will be printed, signed, and numbered for each rider that shows up to the C.O.G. 100. Check out the Recon Report HERE.

11/2/18:   There will be various pages dealing with the event which you can check out. See the details on the event by clicking the page link under the header or HERE.
